A man is interviewing for a company during a recession when he sees a sign that says "we need help". He's been looking for work for months and he feels like he has nothing to lose. He goes into the building and it turns out it's an ad agency. He meets with three people who are all looking for the same position. The guy is having a hard time deciding because they all seem qualified to him as they've all had different experiences and made changes in the past year that would make them adaptable. The current system of government and democracy often leaves people feeling uninformed and out of power, regardless of their opinion and how long they have been engaged.Many people don't know what they are voting for or why, so they just go with the flow. They want to feel like they are making an impact in the world, but do not know where to start.We offer a solution for those who are interested in being more engaged with the political process. We provide straightforward news about what is happening in politics and are committed to educating the public about issues that affect them most.

The story is about the town of Shillingsburg, where residents are debating on who to pick for city council. The principal of the local high school has been running for the position. The mayor thinks that since he is elected he should be able to appoint whomever he wants for these positions. Many residents are unhappy with this decision and say that the right candidate is someone who has a strong understanding of what the needs of the public are and can make sure that they are aware of what is going on in government. The council seeks to find a candidate that they can all agree on and it turns out that they pick someone from within their own ranks, Harold Brown, who just so happens to have a very strong understanding of what is going on in government and how it affects the people.
